Calvary Cemetery, located in Springfield, Ohio, was consecrated in 1887 as a parish cemetery serving the communities of St. Joseph and St. Raphael. In 2005, ownership was transferred to the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, making it the second of two Archdiocesan cemeteries.
Calvary Cemetery will be having a Headstone dedication for Springfield's own John Augustus "Jiggs" Donahue on July 13th at 12pm. Put on by Springfield Ohio History please join us as we remember Jiggs, a member of the 1906 World Series Champion @whitesox.
