ABC STEPS TO SALVATION:
a) REALIZE you're a sinner who can't save himself. (Luk 15:17)
b) CONFESS sincerely your sins. (Pro. 28:13)
c) BELIEVE in the substitutionary sacrifice of Jesus Christ.( Rom. 10:9-10, Ephes. 2:8)
d) THANK Him for saving you. (Rom.10:13)
It's done, Amen!
In the new creature, there's neither heavily nor lightly redeemed but the redeemed of the LORD; the NEW CREATURE, bought by the precious blood of the lamb.
What God has cleansed, let none call unclean.
Churches should create separate courtship sessions for people whose testimonies begin with “I used to club, drug, scam, destroy homes, and sleep around before Christ.”
Let the heavily redeemed marry the heavily redeemed.
This woman right here will, through the church, end up with a Christian brother who lived a decent life while she was clubbing and drugging, as wife.
It is unfair that the reward for a decent life becomes inheriting somebody else’s former chaos.
It’s our wedding anniversary today!❤️
13 years ago, this journey began, and looking back, we can only say God has been faithful through every season.
Please join us in celebrating this special day as we mark our wedding anniversary.
Happy anniversary to us ❤️🥂 xx
After my traditional marriage and return to Lagos, a friend of mine visited me. She was a few years into her marriage before mine. I had been reading a book - "The Power of a Praying Wife" - and when she knocked, I simply dropped it on the sofa.
We had a beautiful time. Lots of stories and laughter. I saw her off and went to bed. The next morning, after my routine chores and bath, I wanted to continue the book. I could not find it. Ah! Ah! I searched for it like I was looking for a pin in a haystack, nothing.
So I called her and asked if she had mistakenly (I did not want to sound accusatory, you know...) taken a book from the chair. In her words, "J, I no mistakenly take anything. I take am. You wey just marry, how many trials and tribulations you don go through wey you dey read Power of a Praying Wife? Nne biko, if you know wetin my eyes dey see, you go know say I need am pass you." 😮
I was dumbfounded. This woman had shown no sign of being weighed down with marital issues when she visited me. Perhaps she had put up a front because she felt I was not yet mature enough to carry what she was carrying. At that point I began to wonder - should I be preparing for a time like this?
Then one day she called, full of thanks. The book had helped her and things had taken a better turn in her marriage. You needed to see me grinning like a Mummy G.O.
Na me God don use restore my friend marriage like this. Chai!
Whom God cannot use does not exist.😊
Six ingredients of true repentance:
1. Sight of sin
2. Sorrow for sin
3. Confession of sin
4. Shame for sin
5. Hatred of sin
6. Turning from sin
