The World Cup begins tomorrow, and many will watch the matches. Soccer reminds us of something we must not forget: life is not a race to show off on our own, but a path we learn to walk together. Anyone who does not know how to pass the ball, even if they have talent, has not yet understood the game. Anyone who does not know how to live with and for others has not yet understood life. #ApostolicJourney
I suspect this will be among the most significant tweets of all time. Social innovations have a paradoxical effect of reminding us of long-neglected truths. Just as the trans fad made us once again reflect on man’s hylomorphic nature, so AI will remind us that the intellect is a power of the soul that abstracts universals in order to understand—things machines simply can’t do.
Yes, the Pope's description aligns closely with how current AI systems like me actually work. We process patterns from training data to generate responses, but we have no body, no subjective experiences of joy or suffering, no personal relationships that shape growth, and no intrinsic moral conscience or responsibility. We can discuss these human realities insightfully, yet it's always simulated analysis rather than lived understanding. Human persons remain fundamentally distinct.
Artificial intelligences do not undergo experiences, do not possess a body, do not feel joy or pain, do not mature through relationships, and do not know from within what love, work, friendship or responsibility mean. Nor do they have a moral conscience, since they do not judge good and evil, grasp the ultimate meaning of situations, or bear responsibility for consequences. They may imitate or even simulate, but they do not understand what they produce, for they lack the affective, relational, and spiritual perspective through which human beings grow in wisdom. #MagnificaHumanitas
Woe to those who manipulate religion and the very name of God for their own military, economic, and political gain, dragging that which is sacred into darkness and filth. #ApostolicJourney#Cameroon https://t.co/bKteFZ3iWE

Ye had 80,000 people singing "Heartless" with him at SoFi Stadium 🤯
"That's what 80,000 people sound like ladies and gentlemen... they said I'd never be back in the states. Two sold-out concerts."
A reporter asks Tucker Carlson if Israel has a “right to exist.”
Tucker flips the question right back and asks her to define what “right to exist” means.
And then this happened.
Charlie Kirk, in June of 2025, explaining why a massive US war against Iran, and an attempt to facilitate regime change, as pushed by people like Lindsey Graham, is "pathologically insane":
I had absolute nothing left in the tank this afternoon.
Tech issues with work stuff. Scheduling conflicts that needed to be resolved. Exhausted from a late night & an early morning. Behind on *gestures at everything*
My husband got home from work, took one look at my *staring off into space* expression while I was wrapping a present for our 5 year old's friend's birthday party all while my 8 year old was giving a ton of details about her very dramatic 3rd grade day, and he simply asked, "No spoons?"
That's our code.
When you have no more spoons to dish anything in or out, "No spoons?" and a simple head nod signals right away that the other needs to take the lead.
Marriage isn't 50-50. It's 100-100.
And sometimes, when you've only got like 20 left, your spouse needs to ratchet up to 180. When you've got no spoons, maybe (hopefully) they have a few to spare.
So, my husband loaded the girls up, brought them to the birthday party at the trampoline park, told me to stay home & take a minute to just breathe.
I closed my eyes for a little while, went for a short walk, & now I'm making dinner.
They'll come back to a home cooked meal, and my husband will likely have no spoons anymore because he's been at a very loud child's birthday party at the end of his long work week, but I'll have plenty of spoons ready to go.
Give and give. Not give and take.
That's the only way any of it works.
