Hilarious. After 16 years of their policies we have America's:
- worst business climate
- highest cost of living
- highest unemployment rate
Who's going to tell them they have COMPLETELY failed?
@TiffanyFong The owner of a Korean market saw me buying all the ingredients to make kimchi and gave me a set of Soju glasses to go with it. I still have them.
Imagine being forced to give someone 6.2% of your paycheck, every single check, every month, for 30 to 50 years of your life.
And that person said, "Don't worry, I'm holding this for you and will pay it back to you on a monthly basis, when you retire at 65."
And then they said, "Nah, just kidding. I meant when you retire at 67. And at that time, I'll only give you 70% of what you paid me."
And then they said, "Oops, I spent all your money. You're out of luck."
That's the U.S. government.
@MindofMunitions@BasedMikeLee Transparent financial dealing by the branch of government who is meant to allocate funding - the legislature - even though they're spineless cowards who don't want to go on record and use extra constitutional agencies as cover. It would force accountability into the process.
Karen was sipping cocktails in Chicago when the Boyle Heights Fire erupted, just as she was sipping cocktails in Ghana when our Palisades Fire erupted. I warned you all...what happened to us will happen to all of LA. That smoke choking out LA is full of lead. Don't breathe it!
You're so right on the hostility towards business in CA.
Cla-Val in Costa Mesa makes all the valves that control drinking water for the residents of many cities in CA and they are being crushed by administrative regulations and compliance costs. At a minimum, higher costs get pushed to the ratepayers but either way, the regulatory machine in CA has to be cut way, way back.
