@NJDOLCommish Thank you so much for this information. We have tried to re-open our claim. However since benefits exhausted are at zero balance you have to speak to a rep and the reps are saying there are no Extended Benefits available at this time. Please help
5/8. 3rd-Emergency Increase in Unemployment Compensation Benefits/Federal Pandemic Unemployment Compensation (Section 2104) says additional $600 will be paid to any NJ claimant eligible for UI. NJDOL fully intends to have these payment starting next week for this week’s filings.
@GovMurphy@CoryBooker yes please help. It took my husband a little over 2 weeks to get through to unemployment to be told there are No Extensions of Benefits at this time. They are waiting for state to update systems. We are in need of this extension during this pandemic.

@GovMurphy Please help with updating unemployment Extended Benefits. Employees can't file claims if they had a previous claim within a year that was exhausted. Please help #COVID19 and rep at unemployment said they are waiting for updates. Please help.
