Casey Williams sent in this shot of a stone east of Graham, Texas that marks where Alfred Lane was killed by Indians in 1864. Lane, Charles Goodnight's brother-in-law, dreamed that that his parents had been killed by Indians. He left to go check on them & was killed on the way.
One of my own photos. I took this shot of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Corn Hill, Texas, a couple of years ago on a quiet morning when the cattle were lowing and the corn was ready for harvest. The church was established in 1889. I have photographed it on many occasions.
“Girls wearing Carhartt thinking they’re blue collar workers. Laying pipe and taking pipe are two different things” well I would ask when was the last time you exercised since you’re wearing Nike but the 30 extra pounds around your waist tells me everything I need to know
Good Lord Lady. I heard Turnpike was getting back together and I thought maybe we should try that. I wish I would’ve been a troubadour for you 😞
Anyways, your brother is a bitch and he could never break my jaw, and tell your daddy I sat in several rooms with you
Sundown comes to the sleepy town of Bartlett on July 6th of last year. It was quiet and the cicadas were doing their thing and a train came through and all in all I felt lucky to be alive and aware and under a Texas sky. One of my own photos, of course.
