I've thought about this for a while now, and I think I'm finally ready to retire from Esports prod, which means this was my last broadcast
It was a great ~5yr run, I made so many friends and had lifechanging experiences. Thanks for everything Esports ❤️
game dev here I come!
@KenneyNL I'm working on a duck hotel game using your furniture, emote, and food packs! Thank you so much for all your amazing (and free!) assets! https://t.co/frskhAUEJU
my first game is now public on steam! Duck Duck Hotel will be released ~April 2026, wishlists super appeciated and help in the algorithm even if you don't plan on buying ❤️
(and if you want to help with playtesting too lmk!)
TLDR: Rare opportunity!! We're hiring for some Game Designer roles that do not require previous Game Design experience, with a major focus on Critical Thinking, Growth Mindset, and game familiarity. So if you're looking to switch careers, great opportunity!

Longer Post: With things how they are in the world today, we're excited to open up this rare opportunity, as we're looking for the next batch of future Game Designers to help shape our games.
We're looking for strong analytical thinking skills, deep passion for our games, and a growth mind set to come in and absorb and learn and grow into awesome designers.
I'm personally excited as the last time we did this, we ended up with @kentwuhoo who was working in Finance at the time, but came in as a TFT player and absorbed so much, and is now a Senior Game Designer running our finalization team. This could be you!
On the TFT side, the folks we hire will get to be a part of every single set, helping on Live or Finalization, and acting as experts in TFT mechanics, game feel, balance, and so much more. Working directly with folks like Kent, @Chaemirix , and myself. I might even be your manager!
If you seriously think this is you, and you have a deep interest in TFT and Game Design, make sure you apply fast. Stuff like this will fill up quick, and likely have a ton of applicants. We're hoping to find the right folks to come in and help us continue to make our games great.
Good luck, and I look forward to working with whoever ends up getting these roles :)
super huge for accessibility, i used to have to play with 1 hand due to nerve issues, and joined a server w/ others w/ similar conditions (many more people than most realize). more rebindability control is always super appreciated ❤️
WASD will be coming as an new official input method
Flash has 3 settings, "Cursor", "WASD with Cursor Enhanced", "WASD with Cursor Fallback". Unsure what they do
Can still click to move under WASD
Has a toggle to smart cast to shoot in the direction your character is facing
