I had the absolute honor of meeting the legendary Nicole Jaffe, the original voice of Velma Dinkley from Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! at Fan Expo Dallas! 🔍

Getting to meet the voice behind one of Mystery Inc.’s most iconic characters was truly a dream come true. Velma has been such a special part of the Scooby-Doo legacy, and this is a moment I’ll cherish forever. 🥹

With Scooby’s big 57th birthday happening tomorrow, I can’t think of a more amazing way to celebrate the franchise I love so much!

Thank you, Nicole, for making this such a memorable experience. Jinkies, what a day! 🧡 👓

Mayor Jones is under attack by a poltergeist in his own home, and the only ones who can help him are Scooby and the gang. After hiring a Voodoo Priestess to help rid the Mayor’s home of evil spirits, the gang realize that there is more to this haunting!

🎞️✨ A blast from the past! These amazing photos show the iconic Hanna-Barbera Studios building in the 1990s, covered with giant banners featuring some of the studio’s most beloved cartoon stars. From Yogi Bear and Huckleberry Hound to Hong Kong Phooey, Dick Dastardly, Space Ghost, and more, this place was a dream destination for animation fans.

For many, just driving by and seeing these larger-than-life characters was a magical experience and a reminder of the incredible legacy Hanna-Barbera left on television history. 📺💛

One of my favorite memories as a young Scooby-Doo fan was popping in my Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! Seasons 1 & 2 DVD set and watching Scooby-Doo’s Ultimate Fan. 💜🐾

This wasn’t just another bonus feature—it felt like a love letter to Scooby fans everywhere. Growing up, I watched this special over and over again. It gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at the world of Scooby-Doo, showcased incredible collections, and celebrated the passion that so many of us have for Mystery Inc.

One of the things that made it even more special was the involvement of Scott Innes, the voice of Scooby-Doo and Shaggy for an entire generation of fans. Hearing Scott talk about Scooby and seeing his enthusiasm for the franchise made the special feel even more magical. As a kid, it was amazing to know that the people behind the characters loved Scooby-Doo just as much as we did.

Looking back, this special helped shape my love for collecting and preserving Scooby-Doo history. Years later, after building one of the largest Scooby-Doo collections in the world, it’s funny to think that I was once that kid sitting in front of the TV, completely fascinated by the collectors and fans featured in this program.

For me, Scooby-Doo’s Ultimate Fan will always be more than a DVD bonus feature. It’s a nostalgic time capsule that reminds me why I fell in love with Scooby-Doo in the first place—and why that love is still just as strong today. 💚

I found this set on Amazon after keeping an eye out for a while, and it was 100% worth the wait. Daphne, Scooby, Shaggy, and Velma all in one box—and in this soft, stylized design? Instant favorite.

There’s just something about seeing the whole Mystery Inc. crew together like this that makes it feel extra special. The details are so clean, and they fit perfectly with the rest of my collection.

Happy Heavenly Birthday to the legendary Casey Kasem. Mr. Kasem voiced Shaggy Rogers in the Scooby-Doo Franchise and has done many other cartoon characters voices over the years. He was also well known for being a radio DJ and hosting the American Top 40. He voiced Shaggy for 28 years and was a radio DJ for 18 years! Mr. Kasem was a never-can-say-goodbye kind of guy. And that's part of the reason he came up with his signature catchphrase, "Keep your feet on the ground and keep reaching for the stars." It beat saying "so long." 💚

This series premiered on April 5th, 2010, Mystery Incorporated first hit our screens with “Beware the Beast from Below,” kicking off an unforgettable chapter in the Scooby-Doo legacy. With its darker tone, deep mysteries, and incredible character development, it gave us a bold, fresh take on the beloved gang while still keeping the heart (and humor) that fans adore.

From Crystal Cove’s creepiest secrets to the epic showdown in “Come Undone” exactly three years later, the series kept us guessing, laughing, and sometimes even tearing up. Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy, and Scooby reminded us what it means to face our fears, stick together, and never stop searching for the truth — no matter how spooky it gets.
