Congrats to Justina and her husband Tomson and daughter Ann Elza on their recent Canadian citizenship! Justina joined us in the late spring as a Supervised Practice Experience Partnership nurse, completed her RN and has been on our Med/Surg unit at the Huntsville site ever since!
Today is Dr. Malcolm Wilson's last Pacemaker Clinic at the Huntsville site, having started the clinic in 1991 with 22 patients and grown it to over 500 today! Dr. David Johnstone will take up the reins and we thank Dr. Wilson for his three decades in the clinic. Happy retirement!
The National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women is about remembering those who have experienced gender-based violence and those lost to it, including the 14 young women at Polytechnique Montréal killed on December 6, 1989. Take action to end the violence.

So long, farewell to Kim Rose who retired on Friday having served in our Human Resources dept. for decades, nearly 10 years as HR Manager and most recently as Interim Director of Employee Health & Human Resources. We wish her all the best in retirement!
