@HeerJeet I would agree that the case is messy. And it’s not my theory. But if the general foundations of the theory are that the more the government is beholden to the people, we generally see less violence, then the two prime movers of conflict, Germany and *particularly* Serbia, 1/2
@AdamZivo You are essentially correct, and I share the view. The implementation challenges include a)those exam styles are rough for mental health, b)this is a time sink for profs, and c)many schools are focused on demonstrating skills, less so knowledge, and exams aren’t great for that.
@sentantiq These readings are wild in light of a lot of things, but in both Homer & Sophocles it’s clear that the Greeks, including everyday Athenians, were at least somewhat uncomfortable with Odysseus, including on ethical/moral grounds. It’s a major theme across works!

A brief thread: This is dangerous, and must not be allowed. I have Crohn's, and there's a country-wide shortage of the drugs I need. Shoppers was useless. The ONLY pharmacies I found that could help were independents.
