Sometimes my body reminds me that I'm disabled and I have to fight really hard to stay positive through my pain. I haven't been able to move my left shoulder or neck pretty much all day without being 9/10 pain and I am so sick of this shit.

Michael Phelps is literally referred to as a freak of nature because of his disproportionate wingspan, double jointed ankles, lung capacity twice that of an average human, body that produces half the lactic acid of a typical athlete, and he is rightly celebrated for being the greatest male swimmer in history. Meanwhile, female athletes with genetic differences are legally discriminated against and harassed to no end. This is not about “protecting women in sports” - this is about protecting a very specific idea of what a woman is.

@turntechGodhead hey it might not be a bad idea to talk to someone about that! It could be visual snow, which is more or less harmless, but it could be important to find out whats causing it. Mines been caused by a brain condition + taking testosterone 🤷‍♂️

I didn't think I was going to be as devastated as I have been about having to wait another year to get this done, but this may very well be the lowest I have ever been in my life. I'm pushing through, but it definitely hasn't been easy. I just hope that it goes smoothly next year

Taken last night at Bissell Center in Edmonton- they were over capacity and people standing outside. It was nearly -40! Told Kohkum’s out there, crying. They started a fire to keep warm. @ABDanielleSmith @JasonNixonAB there is not enough emergency shelter spaces unlike you’re claiming. Those whose encampments were torn down Weds were in this line up.
