Shown in this picture by the Cambodian Mine Action Center (CMAC) is a Thai MK-84 bomb that was dropped during the border clashes.
It weighs nearly one ton, measures around 3.5 meters, and contains more than 500 kg of explosive.
Heng Ratana, director-general of CMAC, said on July 30 that MK-84 is the largest variant in its family that includes MK-81, MK-82, and MK-83. This MK-84 variant was rarely dropped during the Indochina War.
