Police and prison abolitionist group building community defence against police powers in Cambridge!
DM to get involved, or @ us about police in your area.
Knowing your rights and the rights of others during a Stop and Search is a step towards standing in solidarity with one another, and standing up to racist state violence.
Don't walk by! Check-in, inform, and record. Cops don't protect us, we protect each other!
We are protesting against bad faith actors who distort dialogues of oppression, weaponise white middle and upper class femininity, and aim to make trans lives socially impossible through legal attacks on our basic rights.
Our lovely friends at @CamCommunity and @RedFightback are collaborating on this fantastic biweekly event at Nun's Way Pavilion, bringing hot food and drinks, kids' activities and community-building to King's Hedges and the surrounding area ✨

URGENT: Nun's Way crawling with cops, dog handlers and a helicopter.
If you are around the area and are safe enough to see what's happening, interve and offer support and solidarity to anyone currently on the other end of police violence, please do.
We're sorry to have to restrict access in this way – we really wish we could help everybody all the time, but we do need a small number of rules so that we can distribute our limited funds as fairly as possible.
In solidarity,

A message from the CSF team:
We will be reopening for applications on Monday 12th September. However, we've also changed our applications policy, so if you received money in August, you will not be able to apply for this round.
.@camcitco in 2021 you "stood in solidarity" with the GRT community in opposition to the racist PCSC Bill.
Is it true that you have gone back on your word and collaborated with police to enforce it?
Big police presence on East Road today.
If you see the cops stopping and antagonising someone, step in, ask if they're okay and if they'd like you to stay with them, let them know their rights, and record the police.

@ us if you see anything.
Join @cam_grt_sol this Thursday 21st July, 5PM outside the Guildhall, taking a stand against the British state's continued violence against the GRT community, and demanding transit sites, authorised stopping places, and NO EVICTIONS.
Cambridge City Council keep paying lip service to Traveller rights, but there are still evictions happening in the city. We can't let Cambridge see events like those in Milton Keynes last week.
Protest outside the City Council meeting, Guildhall 5pm July 21st - please share!
