Would you like to get your own air quality sensor and start monitoring the air you breathe? @open_seneca is in Stockholm now 🇸🇪🚲Join the initiative to make a difference: 👉https://t.co/kjcU2SoWBN
Together we can map air pollution! Over 140 sensor kits are ready to be shipped 🇸🇪🇵🇹🇰🇭🏴 The kit has everything you need to built your own open-seneca sensor at home: from case and PCB to bike mount and sticker. So excited to start gathering air pollution data soon 🤩🚲
And here it is 🎉 check our the brand new version of the open-seneca air quality monitor! It’s the smallest and most convenient iteration we ever developed and we’re super excited to see them being rolled out in large-scale deployments in Stockholm, Lisbon and Phnom Penh soon 🚲
@Peterpihlmann is presenting our project at the Air Sensors International Conference (#ASIC2020), which was meant to happen in Pasadena, CA, this week. Join the virtual conference to learn about the work we did in Buenos Aires 🇦🇷: https://t.co/PlqD75w6vs

These devices are still out there on different vehicles measuring the air in Nairobi.
2 days to go till the data is being analyzed! https://t.co/OPoBQpRJhr
Stay tuned for the results in the coming weeks.
@urban_pathways@fablabnairobi@open_seneca@GetBoda@uber_kenya
Our collaborators @fablabnairobi organised an air quality sensor workshop with 80 volunteers in Nairobi, which was supported by @UNEnvironment, @urban_pathways, @uonbi, @uber_kenya and @sensirion. Learn about it and the ‘open-seneca Nairobi’ project in this video by @UNHABITAT:
Insights into our project in Buenos Aires, Argentina, after seven weeks of data collection:
🚴♂️ 20 volunteers cycled 3503 km in total.
📏 The average trip distance was 6.4 km.
🏆 The most active volunteer cycled 958 km.
Stay tuned for updates on the collected air pollution data 🌎
We were able to deploy air pollution sensors after the @open_seneca#Nairobi Air Sensor Workshop at the Maker Space on bicycles, motorbikes, #matatus and Ubers. The air sensors will be used to map out air #pollution on the streets.
#BeatAirPollution#HewaYetu
Happy to see our mentors Stefanie Holzwarth of @UNHABITAT as well as @SK_UNEP of @UNEnvironment taking part in @fablabnairobi’s workshop at the MakeSpace Nairobi and promoting our collaborative project. Let’s #BeatAirPollution together!
Sean Khan from Global Environmental Monitoring System, Air Science Division @UNEnvironment speaking about the use low cost sensors in mapping out air quality,creating awareness of #air#pollution and informing policy at the @open_seneca#Nairobi Air Sensor Bootcamp
Open- Seneca is a project that aims to create a #global air quality sensor network with the help of citizen science. We have been able to build locally appropriate #sensor designs in collaboration with @open_seneca from @Cambridge_Uni to map out air pollution in our country.
