Two lovely fellas pulled the trolleys for me tonight, Miles and Lawrence. And a big thank you to the volunteers who filled them with lovely food and supplies. Thank you so much Jacki, Rachael, Teresa, Miles and Evanthia. You did the guys are girls proud. ❤️❤️

But in stark contrast, the sight of one lady, huddled under a blanket on the ground, cold and poorly, was distressing. We left her with a warm coat, hot soup, plenty of supplies and the sleeping bag she so clearly needed.

Another was really pleased to see us and took £5 from his pocket and insisted we take it to buy supplies. He's now got his own a place. A key. A front door. A home. And he wanted to give something back for the help we gave him when he was homeless. We were so happy for him!

Everyone should have a home and this was evident tonight as the trolleys trundled the cold streets of Cambridge.
People were cold, hungry and low. Faces worn. One man could barely raise a smile. "Just one night in a bed... a decent sleep" Sadly, one thing we couldn't help with.

1. There, but for the Grace of God, go I.

What a night. Every single scrap of food went. Supplies handed out. And we did our best to listen, to care, to support and to show as much kindness as we could.

People were hungry, hot, tired and broken.

2. Numbers are rising. All our rolls plus extra food bags handed out tonight. Coffee went down a storm. All cold drinks were handed out.

We need to carry on.

We need you to help us.

It makes such a difference.
