The Government is expected to announce which new councils will be created in July 2026. Whatever the decision, existing councils are working together to make sure the transition is as smooth as possible and ensure your services continue as normal without disruption 🤝
Local councils in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough are changing❗️
Our area is undergoing Local Government Reorganisation (LGR), the Government’s national programme to simplify how councils are structured in England 🏴
It means from April 2028, the seven current county, district, city and unitary councils in our area will be replaced by a smaller number of new ‘unitary councils’ responsible for providing all the council services you access 👥

Rivers can be much colder than you expect. If you get into trouble in the water, Float to Live.
Lean back and use your arms and legs to help you float, then get control of your breathing before
calling for help or swimming to safety.
You can keep cool during hot weather with the following tips...close blinds and curtains on windows exposed to direct sunlight. Open windows when the air feels cooler outside than inside. Move to the coolest part of your home.
