Think of it as my mid-year update with more to come soon. I've been writing a few pieces that I've submitted for publication and I'm still working out those details but I miss writing and sharing and so I'm not done yet. More to come soon.

For Christmas this year I received four books. There were no words in any of them. So, I decided I needed to rekindle my love of writing and here's the first piece for 2023. It's been a year and it's only January.

I figured it's been a bit since I gave a Camden family update, so here's the latest with a special emphasis on all the many blessings we've had this fall.

In recognition of living six years with MBC, I bought tickets to the "Together We Thrive Gala" on June 11th. All the proceeds stay here in a collaborative research initiative between UNC and Duke. Love to have some friends join us for the evening.

We are in the final minutes of 2021 and I'd like to say I'm ready to slam the door shut on it, but the truth is I'm terrified for what 2022 might bring. I'm hopeful and optimistic but I don't always love change ... lots of prayer.

I shared with @Merck via "Your Cancer Story." In this excerpt, I spoke about intimacy during #breastcancer treatment. It's not a topic that is frequently discussed, but it's critical to quality of life. #stageIVneedsmore#MerckPartner#bcsm

I’m feeling hard-hearted 🖤 today after watching Dr Fauci’s sad shrug in video interview yesterday as he indicated how easy making life better for everyone could be:
1. Wear a mask
2. Physically/socially distance
3. Wash hands
This holiday weekend, let’s be safe and smart. It’s going to take all of us to beat this virus. So wear a mask. Wash your hands. And listen to the experts, not the folks trying to divide us. That's the only way we’ll do this—together.
