Amazing presentation by Camelia Benlabiod (@beth_psaila / Caroline Marty lab) on the biology of calreticulin driven myelofibrosis in an immunocompetent mouse model #ASH24#MPNsm
Feeling very fortunate to work with the very best lab team - not only do they deliver exciting science, great ideas and good company, they also surprise me with beautiful wall art and a chocolate version of my dog for my birthday #LabUtopia@MRC_WIMM@UniofOxford
Heading home from #ASH23? 👩💼🌞🌮Stuck in a line at security or facing a long layover? ✈️In withdrawal from all the amazing science? 🧪🧬 Read our preprint from my PhD work @UniofOxford@MRC_WIMM presented in the MPN session yesterday! https://t.co/uH3dzJ5ueD 1/n
How might DYRK1A drive disease transformation in BP-MPN? We go on to show that DYRK1A concomitantly downregulates DNA repair while promoting cell survival by amplifying JAK STAT signaling - key to promoting leukaemogenesis - and that the axis is targetable! 12/n
Incredibly proud of the team who will be presenting 6 abstracts today (4 oral presentations and two posters). Hope you will be able to catch some of them. I will be putting on my running shoes to get between the sessions in good time! Might need this too (Harry Potter ref):
Want somethg exciting & totally new at #ASH2023@ASH_hematology? Check out @l_cmurphy@MRC_WIMM 's talk Sat 4PM SDCC-Rm 33. Beautiful imaging, whole genome sequencing & fx analysis of platelets exploring how they sequester free fetal and cancer-derived DNA https://t.co/yrEklMT9DE
It’s a wrap! Another sensational @CHO_HEMATO meeting this year with amazing science presented and discussed! Looking forward to seeing you all again soon!
