@HighwaysEAST Close the southern junction out of Stibbington onto the A1 south like you promised over a decade ago and the congestion which caused this crash will be drastically reduced and peoples lives in Stibbington won't be put at risk as they are now.
@HighwaysEAST your continuing failure to control traffic at Stibbington will cost lives. Last night it was nearly me. Your refusal to close the dangerous southern junction onto the A1 is not only exacerbating the traffic jam it is a blight on residents lives. Fix it.
@HighwaysEAST@roadpoliceBCH FOUR MONTHS LATER... Nothing has been done, thousands of vehicles drive through local villages risking lives and Highways pretends it's not their problem and do nothing. Locals now planning "action" to get media attention and put a spotlight on your failings.
Lovely to see some of my drone footage on #diggingforbritain tonight. Now available on iplayer. Wish I'd filmed the location with that amazing Anglo Saxon sword, what a find!
Out on a rowing boat on the river Nene near Peterborough, over 30 miles from the Wash and that is a Seal! There are now at least six in this stretch alone, local fishermen are worried they're eating all the fish.
@huntsdc You could improve the quality of life for residents in Stibbington by getting rid of pure fuels! You're ignoring "significant harm" done to us and the recent carbon monoxide poisoning of 5 households. Do your job tackling real problems not with poxy initiatives.
@EnvAgency I'd love some positive change where I live but I'd settle for not being poisoned with carbon monoxide by a company under an EA licence! I'd pay ยฃ180 for the EA to stop covering up Pure Fuels pollution and stop lying to the council.
Year later and this nightmare (see thread) continues. The biofuel plant lost it's planning appeal due to "significant harm caused to local residents" so did @huntsdc evict them? No. Even worse they poisoned us for weeks since then with carbon monoxide and @EnvAgency let it happen
I've been tweeting occasionally about the "Bio diesel" plant ruining our neighbourhood which has previously exploded and had a couple of fires, well this is how it looked tonight. Saw at least one casualty. When will it end? @ShaileshVara@peterboroughtel@Mercury1712@Cambslive
@jpwarchaeology The village of Wansford has a Hotel named "The Haycock" after the haystack on which in folklore "Barnaby the Drunk" arrived in the village. Now renamed "Haycock manor hotel" it's new owners had the original sign repainted to change Barnaby to a Mills and Boon looking hunk!
@EnvAgency @AaronBell4NUL Hope they're not twiddling their thumbs like the EA did here while a biofuel plant (Pure fuels, Stibbington) poisoned us with carbon monoxide. EA is complicit in polluting. They must have a huge rug to sweep everything under
@sommecourt I never knew an aircraft could spin on it's yaw axis in the air until I saw clips of this. One day there'll be a pilot in the CGI suite giving advice!
