We were WOWED beyond belief when the caravan of vehicles rolled onto Cameron's grounds filled with canned goods and other non-perishable items this yesterday afternoon! The huge donation was a part of Our Lady of Mercy's High School Spirit Day.

KUDOS to the group of student volunteers from the University of Rochester who helped serve food, snow cones, popcorn, and assisted with clean up at the Resource Fair! Their volunteer service was for the annual Wilson Day event sponsored by the University.

Victor Saunders, Advisor to the Mayor for Violence Prevention, joined us for our Resource Fair events. He fondly recalled the many years of his work in the area, and memories of Cameron prior to his current role.

On Women's Equality Day, we honor the pioneering suffragists who persisted through decades of struggle to finally win American women the right to vote, and we celebrate the advocates and everyday heroes who have continued the long march for equality ever since.

Nazareth University students showed up in full force today at the Teen Center to stuff backpacks with school supplies!  The large group of students set up the room and put the assembly line in motion!  THANK YOU!  THANK YOU!  THANK YOU!

Apprentices in the Cameron Cuts Barber Apprenticeship program volunteered in the kitchen yesterday to help serve lunch.
Volunteerism is a component of their program. Check them out Friday at our Annual Resource Fair as they provide haircuts under the guidance of their instructor
