@TreyDupree74@KillOnBullshit@0607ubge Stop the cap. Marcus Garvey didn't influence the Southern movement or the dismantling of Jim Crow. Our foothold was homegrown in states like Alabama and Georgia, built entirely by the NAACP, local churches, fraternal lodges, and labor unions...
@RX_9999_2 Mind you during WW2 its estimated that the Japanese raped between 20k-80k Chinese Women and girls during the Nanjing Massacre and killed over 100k people just because you didn't like the them. A culture of violence but we are the problem ?? Plz.
Happy birthday to the @undertaker! Yes, you burned down the family home, encased my real father, Paul Bearer, in concrete, and set me on fire...a couple of times...but otherwise you're the best big brother anyone could ever hope for!
this is for Candyman! this is for Blade! this is for Eve’s Bayou! this is for Get Out! this is for US! this is for MA! this is for Nope! this is for Love & Basketball!!
@1z1z1z1z1z1z1x@kuromigirllover "We are Americans, and as Americans, we would speak to Americans. We address you not as aliens nor as exiles, humbly asking to be permitted to dwell among you in peace; but we address you as US citizens asserting their rights on their own native soil."

@RackbarAll5990@BWLH_ Black people in Auburn don’t just "contribute"—we lead. We have 8 active Black principals in ACS, a retired Black Police Chief, & the legacy of J.F. Drake (Auburn native & AAMU President). My aunt Frankie King even started Head Start. We lead & build just like anyone else. 🦅
@BrianWa81088677@BWLH_ Lol Auburn has a very strong African American community that has been there hundreds of years at this point. You know NOTHING of Auburn.
@traveltobts@hearts4meanies@mircat_99 @pjayjiny @crioulia Using those protective styles limits interactions with the environment allowing us to maintain our curl patterns. Same with harsh dry aired winters.
@traveltobts@hearts4meanies@mircat_99 @pjayjiny @crioulia Several reasons... climate, work, time. Braids plats ect limits exposure to our very humid climate, our hair literally tries to drink the water in the atmosphere which leads to cycles of dryness and frizzness.
@traveltobts@hearts4meanies@mircat_99 @pjayjiny @crioulia Our hair is naturally coily but you can lose your hair pattern by combing it or applying heat to it to much. Combing natural hair everyday is a no no. So to keep its natural curl pattern you braid it, plat it or twist it and wear a hairstyle over it.
@KingStan316450@Igotreceipts34@justjewels912 When it comes to this, it isn't obsession I think its frustration and confusion. I'm as FBA as any of you can claim and I've yet to see any data, or proof of this "we've been here narrative" just grainy exerts of taken out of context articles.
@RabidRighteous@Salt__Radio@genesimmons We literally invented and brought over the banjo. The banjo has always been known to have been invented and used by enslaved Black Americans. Which is a foundational instrument in mountain music. Keep up!
@BigSlimeCori @BloggedByRain Umm. As a 9th generation American. The mass majority of my people who were of African descent was definitely kidnapped. My elders maintain a close connection with there Geechee roots, which are definitely connected to Africa.
