@WallStreetApes Just because you vote early doesn’t mean your ballot is counted on Election Day. If you sign up they send you a text when your ballot is processed. I’ve voted in every election in LA since 2018 and my ballot is always counted after Election Day. Sometimes by more than a week.
@EricTopol Why do this? I wonder if this has something to do with trying to train AI models…
Submit a bunch of AI generated papers, have them go through actual peer review or editorial process and see what gets through as part of RL feedback.
Things are getting weird.
@cam_nili Thanks for this- I've been trying to understand this. My understanding is that AQI does take into consideration PM 2.5, which many of the air toxins you mention attach to and would thus be measured. The problem is that the PM 2.5 *might* be more hazardous than normal, right?
Does anyone have any verified sourcing on whether it’s safe to be outside for extended periods of time or to be active outside in the Los Angeles area soon after a wildfire that burns homes, even if the AQI is “good”? With concern for dangerous chemicals/particles like asbestos?
