@asim_lfc I don't get the hate Diaz has got this season, yes his finishing could improve but being an out ball and being able to run 50m up the pitch ny himself is so underrated for receiving pressure, we were just spoilt with Mane and the Salah of a few seasons back
@AaronSpratt20 @TheAnfieldTalk@_ChrisBascombe Couldn't make the timeliness match any better! Lack of experience mayve a concern though, we'd have all jumped on Gerrard after he won Rangers the title if it was the same scenario
@AaronSpratt20 @TheAnfieldTalk@_ChrisBascombe He's like 40 years old, we'll have plenty other opportunities for him, but agree we need to go for him. Honestly couldn't name another manager I actually want
@Brodie_Mun There's been loads of goals ruled out for interfering with play ๐ the rule is shite and that should be a goal but can't be angry at them for applying the rules correctly
@Corballyred Just about agree with you. There was far too much hype about Endos performance, he made some tackles you'd expect of a DM but could tell he wasn't used to games at that speed/intensity. Positionally and on the ball was okay, hopefully just a couple games to get up to speed๐
@Dan19LFC@AnythingLFC_ Agree, another DM would be lovely but think the LCB should be priority now, reckon Fab bounces back this season with mobile players around him. Trent/Baj/Thiago/Hendo are just about good enough to cover DM when Fabs out
@Corballyred Tbf we do need to ship out some dead wood and the lack of rumours for selling players is worrying. I'd imagine our 4th and last signing won't come until a couple are out the door. Hopefully one more in the door asap
@SriramofNorwell @dodgekimball@LFCTransferRoom@LFC Exactly, love the work we do to make the right *big* signings rather than just going for any old big name, but they got it wrong last year, they should have had a back up. I remember Klopp admitting in the last week of the window we needed a cm and we ended up with Arthur ๐
@LymTime11@MrTwoFooted Didn't mean to pick on him I like the lad as well ๐ just not built for CM. Agree, the 10/2nd ST is best for him but he has Gakpo, Jota, Firmino Elliot, Carvalho (maybe?) ahead of him for there so where does he fit in the squad?
@LymTime11@MrTwoFooted 100% coaches and staff know so much about how players will develop/mature now. Most people his age could probably run as much as him, but it's his mental/technical maturity that makes him top tier. Opposed to Curtis Jones who runs around a lot, but it's totally aimless
@LymTime11@MrTwoFooted Very valid for them, but JB relys on a great engine (like Hendo did 3-5 yrs ago), but that can equally dissapear playing this much at a young age with the strain on the muscles. Although Jude clearly has far more skills to be utilised if he loses his legs a bit haha
