Happy #AlaskaDay! Today, we celebrate the dynamic mountains, rivers, oceans, valleys, wildlife, greenery, and never-ending landscapes, as well as the vast history of the land. Let’s empower the next generation to explore, learn, and lead with passion in this incredible state.
Guess what’s just around the corner? Lights On Afterschool is the only nationwide event that celebrates and advocates for afterschool programs. We can’t wait to partake in a fun celebration at our sites on Wednesday the 18th!
Snack time = Best time! Providing snack food for our youth that fills them with energy allows for our fun activities to be possible after a long day of school.
Families, please remember that tomorrow, Monday, October 9th, there is NO program and our office is closed in observance of Indigenous Peoples’ Day. We will be back open on Tuesday, October 10th.

Camp Fire Alaska attended United Way’s kick off event last night. We saw many committed community partners and leaders share about the work being done to grow opportunity and strengthen our communities, and about how we all come together to amplify impact!
