@ciaramit1 It's something that not a lot of people talk about, but it's definitely something we think about on a regular basis. We've gotten more comfortable in these last few months, but we definitely feel safer in more populated locations with other vans and RVs near.

@Carolyns_RVLife Thanks! I think we're getting more comfortable and better at judging if a place feels safe or night, we've still had a decent number of nights where we're sure an axe murder will come and kill us in our sleep!

@thebreakofdawns Yes, those definitely help! There's always the dream of staying in these secluded picturesque places, but a lot of the time we feel way safer where there are other people around.

@clairesturz @Travelnpack If you were interested in doing it still, I'd say look out for places where there are other travelers also spending the night, and then have extra money saved to spend the night in established campgrounds etc. It's shitty, but that's just the reality of the situation.

@clairesturz @Travelnpack Honestly, I wish I could tell you not to let that stop you, but it's a huge concern of ours, and I definitely wouldn't do it the same way on my own. A lot of the free camping spots we stay at there are other RVs etc there. Then we feel super safe.
