Of course, everything wasn’t smooth.

We found bugs.

We found things that weren’t as intuitive as we thought.

We found places where students got confused.

And sometimes we had to look at something we’d just built and admit:

“Yeah… this needs work.”

But I’m actually grateful we found those problems early.

It’s better to discover that something doesn’t work when you have hundreds of users giving you feedback than after you’ve spent years pretending everything is perfect.

Early users give you room to learn.

Then the messages started coming.

Some students were telling us what they liked.

Others were asking why certain features weren’t there yet.

Some basically gave us a whole product roadmap without knowing it 😂

And honestly, we needed that.

One example is our Taskbell concept.

The idea is to help students keep track of things they need to remember, including class-related reminders.

It’s one of those features that might sound simple until you actually need it.

Fair question.

WhatsApp is great for conversations.

But Campfleet isn’t being built around messaging alone.

We’re trying to connect messaging with campus communities, discovery, gigs, content and student tools in one environment.

Today was about what we’re building for them.

the progress Campfleet has made so far and what happened after we put the first version in students’ hands.

Student communities are a huge part of campus life.

Departments.

Courses.

Clubs.

Interests.

Different student communities already exist everywhere.

Campfleet gives those communities a place to come together instead of having everything scattered across different chats.

If you have a skill, you can put it out there.

Maybe you’re a designer.
