Week 2 CR Top 25 Poll🚨
A lot of movement this week! Didn’t go into it think I’d drop Ohio State much but more of a testament to that top tier of 7 teams being so congested. Oklahoma is out for now. Boise State is the clear front runner in Group of 6. And the Big 12 looks wide open.
Thoughts? #CFB
CFP Eliminator through Week 2❌
The list grows as some Group of 6 teams add their second loss. Rutgers is the first Power 4 team I’ll knock off but more coming this weekend.
Is there anyone else you’d add? #CFP
Remaining Undefeated Teams💯
The board gets a lot slimmer after a chaotic Week 2. Should see it narrow down even more as we dive deeper in conference play this weekend.
Who do you see taking their first loss in Week 3? #CFB
Week 2 Superlatives🥇
What a weekend of college football. Had a couple big upsets and several contenders for game of the week. Should only get better as we head into conference play.
What would you change? #CFB
Feels like it’s separated into a pretty clear 4 tiers and it’s all interchangeable within each at this point
Texas, Georgia, and LSU at the top. Clear frontrunners for the CFP.
Second tier of Ole Miss to Tennessee where one or two could make the playoff.
Miss State to Oklahoma all seem like 6 to 8 teams. Pull off an upset of two but largely middle of the pack.
Kentucky, Arkansas, and Vanderbilt at the bottom.
@LFTGCFB@redzone_cfb I’m still not putting Cal that high up there. Still a lot of issues that were covered up with Syracuse turning the ball over late. Could easily be 0-2.
Sources: Two key Texas Tech players are expected to be game-time decisions for No. 22 Houston on Friday. Tight end Terrance Carter (foot) missed the Oregon State game and EDGE Trey White (knee) hasn't played yet this year. Both will be monitored through the week, as there's a potential for their returns for No. 13 Texas Tech.
Don’t expect this to change much in terms of Norvell being on the hot seat.
Maybe they end up keeping him through the end of the year but think this really allows for the new AD to come in and make his own football hire right away.
Shame on us for not having Oregon and Oklahoma State on the graphic. Can’t say I saw that one coming.
Other than that, pretty good overall. Mizzou was able to pull away but game was competitive early. Everyone else won fairly easily.
Upset Alerts for Week 2🔔
A couple of exciting matchups this week. Keeping my eye on the Border War tonight and think Kansas is very live. Outside of that, some spreads in the lower teens. Don’t see any of them pulling the upset but potentially some close games.
What upset are looking out for? #CFB
Ohio State vs Texas Week 2 Game Preview🏈
What’s your prediction for this contest between two of the biggest brands in college football? #OhioState#Texas#CFB
@deadpoolTARDIS I’d probably have them around that 20-25 make. More so saying the idea of them being ranked that low is crazy to see based off the expectations coming into the year.
Week 2 AP Poll Takeaways…
- Texas rightfully takes the top spot. Ohio St to 6 but I think those are easily two of the top teams in country
- Seeing Oregon at 21 is shocking. A lot of Lanning to figure out. I expected more from both lines
- BYU jumps over Texas Tech. Big 12 feels wide open if the Red Raider defense is not as strong as last year
- Still not sure why Boise St isn’t ranked. Easily the best G6 team so far and a huge win over Memphis
- Tennessee with a good road win and keeps rising. Brandon had some freshman mistakes but that run game is great
- Michigan back in as they should. Will be a team that leans on defense and Underwood’s legs all year
