@nichols_senator Why didn’t the school voucher legislation mandate private schools to conduct background checks like public schools? If private schools are receiving public funds, shouldn’t the state hold them to the same standards to protect our students?

I learned there were no scholarships for Ss in our community seeking a career in law enforcement. So I partnered w/ @CSIEagles to change that.

We raised $10k in less than 3 months to create the Todd D. Peck LE Endowed Scholarship.

These are the kinds of drills that give our work a bad name. At no point during a practice should anyone pretend to shoot kids, use any form of simulation, or anything that introduces trauma. Best practices call for adults to model calm behavior.
