SURVEY: DUTERTE-ROBREDO GAP NARROWS IN 2028 PRESIDENTIAL PREFERENCE POLL

LOOK: Vice President Sara Duterte continues to lead over Naga City Mayor Leni Robredo in a hypothetical matchup for the 2028 presidential race, but the gap has narrowed further in a non-commissioned survey conducted by OCTA Research.

Forty-three percent of respondents said they would vote for Duterte, while 34% preferred Robredo. Twenty-two percent said they were undecided.

OCTA Research noted that the nine-percentage-point lead is two points narrower compared to the first quarter.

The survey asked around 1,200 respondents whom they would vote for if the election were held during the survey period from July 4 to 11.
