Meanwhile, do you deny I pointed you to Satoshi's 'extension' thinking in the bitcoin white paper? After I did here in public, you went on a months-long spree of writing about Nash + extension + Satoshi.

Yet what you've failed to confront or grapple with in humility as a human being (not just an academic) is that extension as I positioned it is "trans-evolutionary." In this way of interpretation, it makes sense to put 'evolutionary' thinking aside as human extension can be spoken about much more clearly, specifically & accurately than using that by now outdated, often biologistic metaphor.

Human extension in contrast to 'evolution' cannot be reduced to simple biological models or mechanisms, which shouldn't be presumed as sociologically or economically valid.

Human extension extends from human choices & actions, not from 'random or unpredictable environmental pressures' or some such definition of 'evolution' that Nash was sadly stuck on outside of his areas of expertise. Just like Szabo on this topic with his 'evolutionary hermeneutics', Nash likewise used the wrong metaphor & way of thinking & ended up with an unfortunately dehumanizing position.

For those of us who believe Nash wasn't perfect & made mistakes, his use of 'evolutionary' thinking is considered one of them. If the John Nash Institute refuses discussion of that possibility, it shows something about the unwillingness to face critique, which isn't good news for an independent British 'think tank.'

And understandably, Jon, as you continue to try to promote a 'John Nash Institute' of some kind in the UK, this is what you wish to avoid facing about Nash's late career 'ideal money' thinking that includes the misnomers political evolution, economic evolution, technological evolution, etc. Applied to bitcoin, it doesn't 'evolve'; it extends. Just as Satoshi wrote, full stop.

This is what you refuse to accept & only offer weak diversions of insistence so far in replies. Thus, I can understand why others would break contact with you, not because of any supposedly 'valid ideas,' you might hold, but because you repeatedly & insistently fail to take into consideration alternative perspectives that happen to weaken the philosophical foundation of your own claims in following John Nash.

Be welcome to try thinking about 'extension' as a different category of change than 'evolution.' It's easy if you try & you don't even need Nash to do it. This may help you overcome being stuck on the misnomer of using 'evolutionary' thinking in economics & when regarding human beings.
