J:Does it mean that she also suffered from love pain?

A:”To whom has it not happened at least once in a lifetime? Suffering for love happens to everyone. When you truly love, you can suffer like anyone else.”

J:What did you like about this series?

A:”Right from the start “Bro” excited me because it gives me the opportunity to play a different role from those I usually play. It's an idea that Giovanni Nasta and I had because on the set of "Viola come il mare" we always had fun together, and in addition to being a colleague he is also a great friend. I am sure that even with the production team and with the direction of Riccardo Donna and Tobia Campana it will be a wonderful experience, we started filming a few days ago. “Bro” will be a surprise for everyone.”

J:What is your relationship with comedy? Do you feel like this kind?

A;”In my career I have also done some romantic comedies, in Turkey, so it is a genre that I know and that I like. Here I play a lawyer who is awkward with women: it will make me bring out a new side of my personality and this is very stimulating. It's a challenge and I love work challenges and getting involved as an actor. I like to change, experiment with different genres. The comedy in my last projects is an aspect that has come out less, but with Giovanni Nasta there is a naturally comic harmony.”

J:In life you are an only child but in this comedy series you have brother. What effect did it have on her?

A:”Having a "set brother" makes me know a dynamic that I have not experienced daily in real life. Maybe having a brother or sister would have been nice, even to have someone to share certain experiences with since childhood, but being an only child also made me very independent and responsible.”

J:Ultimately, do you look more like your character or the one who is played by Nasta in the series?

A:”They are a nice mix of both. When I play a role I always look for a point of contact with myself, something authentic from which to start. For my character, with whom I have in common a law degree, for example, I have to bring out an aspect of my personality that I had when I was younger: I studied a lot and I was not very sociable.”

J:In the series, the two brothers are forced to collaborate despite not getting along: has it ever happened to you in your life to become friends with someone you didn't like at first?

A:”Yes, it can happen. The first impression is not always the right one. On the set it often happens that you meet people very different from you, and it is precisely the diversity of character that can create interesting relationships».

J:How much attention does your physical appearance weigh on you? Is it something you find limiting for your acting career?

A:”I know perfectly well that physical appearance is part of my image and I can't deny it. But for me it's important that it doesn't become a limit. The physique changes, the age changes, while an actor must continue to grow, study and transform. That's why I'm looking for different roles and always new challenges».

J:Do you have dreams for the future?

A:”I would like to continue to surprise myself, playing very different characters, being chameleonistic, never repetitive and working in international productions».

J:Is there room for the direction as well? Is it an experience you would like to do or is it not among your plans?

A:”I don't rule it out, if one day I were to pass behind the camera, I would like to do it when I have a good story to tell and I am ready to take on that responsibility. The direction requires great preparation and a lot of respect.”
