From our family to yours, thank you 🇨🇦❤️
We are deeply moved by the support Canadians across the country have shown for our fallen and injured soldiers. On Wednesday, as 3 PPCLI soldiers returned to their garrison in Edmonton, Albertans lined the highway to show their support.
The Remembrance period can be difficult for some, but more so this year because of the recent incident in Wainwright, Alberta. It is a time to come together.
We will remember them. (1/2)
Following the tragic incident at CFB Wainwright, we remain focused on supporting injured members, their families, and all those impacted. 27 members are still in hospital, and 12 members have been released from hospital.

Great to open the Canada Pavilion at #AUSA2026 and see Canadian innovation on full display. As the Canadian Army modernizes, partnerships with industry are essential to delivering the capabilities, readiness, and resilience Canada needs. @CanComCorp@CadsiCanada
Firepower with precision.
Throwback to MNB LVA showing some real firepower at the range this summer during routine zeroing drills. Canadian and allied armour showed off their skills.
We continue to #DeterAndDefend on NATO's Eastern Flank.
Canadian Army modernization is making us stronger, more ready, and a better partner. I appreciated the opportunity to join allies at @AUSAorg's annual meeting to share ideas and discuss the challenges and opportunities we face together.
The road to readiness continues.
From September 28 to October 2, 2026, soldiers from 2 R22eR took the field on Ex CASTOR AGUERRI to conduct a live-fire exercise as part of preparations to deploy in Latvia as part of Op REASSURANCE.
Through firsthand exposure to Army operations, participants gained a deeper understanding of the challenges soldiers face and the opportunities where innovation can enhance capability, readiness, and effectiveness. 2/2
Engaging industry to drive modernization.
Soldiers from 2 CMBG had a unique opportunity to showcase their capabilities to academic and industry partners during Ex COLLABORATIVE SPIRIT. 1/2
Different environments, common missions 🇨🇦🤝🇦🇺
4 CRPG hosted soldiers from the Australian Army's NORFORCE for Ex NORTHERN LIGHTS 2026. Sharing tactics and knowledge ensures they can find common solutions, and be more effective in the remote and austere areas they operate in.
The M4 Carl Gustav is being implemented across infantry units. This new capability is now in the hands of our Infantry School, where instructors are being trained to teach soldiers how to employ the weapon effectively.
Tomorrow’s battlefield is being shaped today. Canadian soldiers and industry partners at Project Convergence–Capstone 6 tested drones, surveillance, C2 systems, and alternative energy solutions to advance capabilities for Canada and NATO.
The Canadian Army’s new structure is about one thing: readiness. It strengthens how we generate forces, integrate capabilities, and turn investment into operational results for a stronger contribution to Canada’s defence: https://t.co/CUHUuIOqAK
Combat operations require constant communication.

Our time in Afghanistan is a legacy that is complex and heartbreaking. I am grateful to the @CanWarMuseum for the chance to share my own story as part of their podcast and honour those we lost, and those still bearing the scars.

As part of the National Day for #TruthAndReconciliation, I visited Kahnawà:ke this past weekend to listen, learn, and strengthen relationships. Grateful for the opportunity to engage with community members and visit the Kanatahkwèn:ke Cultural Centre.
This month, we celebrate the women of the CA, past and present, whose service, leadership and perseverance continue to strengthen our Army and inspire generations who will follow in their footsteps.
