Looks like the murderer fit the profile of the vast majority of mass shooters: A young man with a troubled home life, no father, aggressive with mother, inflicted self-harm, failed in school and was bullied. Many things lead to tragedies like this and ALL should be addressed!
I don’t think “I’m a girl! Poor ME!” is empowering. Why are we instilling this victimhood and resentment in young girls when girls and women in America are supported and encouraged in every way, and it’s actually boys who are treated unfairly today?
How can a woman be a “Have-it-All Woman” (career; great marriage; well-raised children)? By marrying a man who is a nurturer-connector, not a provider-protector. Caveat: if she doesn’t respect him for raising children, not money, the result is divorce.
Women receiving about 60% of college degrees does not translate into women becoming 60% of CEOs or political leaders. Why? Fewer women neglect their families for their career. A balanced life is usually a happier life, but a CEO’s life is rarely balanced.

When @LisaBritton told me Dad Twitter was “blowing up”, I was intrigued. I see this is a community of men on Twitter determined to lead by example and lift up other men and fathers. I am excited to watch this grow!

This #InternationalMensDay learn the skills to start conversations about suicide. The training from @Zer0Suicide only takes 20 minutes, and could help save a life. #StopMaleSuicide https://t.co/AmZbeAHnHV
Today is #InternationalMensDay. Men worldwide are:
• 76% of all suicides
• 85% of homeless people
• 70% of homicide victims
• 92% of workplace deaths
• 17% of sexual assault victims
• 40% domestic abuse victims
It’s time to change this. Now.
Boys and young men made up between one third and one half of young people whose boyfriend or girlfriend attempted to or sexually assaulted them. Interestingly the “more often than once or twice” data (the most frequent attempts/assaults) are identical for boys and girls.
