@N4pstr "These people promise they will make these changes. Me? I make blender renderings of those changes so you know I am super duper serious about it."
@CTVNationalNews To me, everyone who votes to leave should be given an information pamphlet about immigration to the US and be given 90 days to get out. Y'all wanna be a part of them so bad, go. If you choose to stay, then clearly it ain't so bad here. Sit down, shut up and support our Country.
@gator_gum I honestly don't get it, if they love the land of the diarrhea lettuce and medical bills so much why don't they just move there? No one is stopping them, hell we're encouraging it.
@amys_here Give me a fucking break. Here we go with this shit again. There is no war on Christmas, stop making yourself a victim because the orange professional pants shitter decided he wanted to pull some bullshit and Carney has the balls to tell him no.
@alleria_eh Refusing to say where it's coming from too... I have no doubt it probably isn't even beef. Been seeing some talk about horse meat and it wouldn't surprise me.
@alleria_eh If you aren't now watch Carneys Press Conference. He mentioned both in the press release and now in the conference he would not budge on Canadas Sovereignty. My guess was the 11th hour addition was an attempt to take over the country.
@horrorrules22@taraprindiville Some of my favourite shit is making a vague statement and watching people tell on themselves by thinking it applies to them.
@StewGlobal Oh yeah sure sorry about that.
Seriously though, reading Carney's statement it seems like the 11th hour change was one that would undermine our sovereignty, and if that's the case then fuckin good on him for immediately stopping talks.
@AndrewTumilty Honestly the part that sticks out the most to me is "•Maintain our flexibility, independence, and sovereignty so we can keep building the Canada we want.". For him to mention such an obvious point in what he wanted for the deal shows they tried to go against it
@BluenoserGalNS "...included a historic economic and national security partnership..."
"•Maintain our flexibility, independence, and sovereignty so we can keep building the Canada we want."
The devil is in the details
To all these Albertans who was to separate. Simple thought, why not just leave? Immigrate to the US. Hell, if you're so hard done by our government, try to "seek refuge" there. Tbf thats what this all is about. Go bow to the cheeto while we work on keeping his ego in check.
@gator_gum There were comments in both the US Trade Rep post and Carneys post that tell the whole story;
"...included a historic economic and national security partnership..."
"•Maintain our flexibility, independence, and sovereignty so we can keep building the Canada we want."
