@Martyupnorth This rise in inflation has nothing to do with Ottawa spending. The rise of energy costs at 27% YOY is the primary culprit. Eliminating energy inflation was 2.2% lower end of the BOC target range and for the first time Food was at 1.8%.
@sarobertson_ Nice way to diminish our negotiation stance. What happened with entering from a position of strength. Insinuating the tariffs are hurting is not helpful, showing impatience is not helpful. What happened to team Canada? PMSH endorsed the government and you should take his lead!
@trevor_slatery I got a dual energy system, although my heat pump is rated for -30c at -13c my system automatically switches to natural gas at it is more efficient. Best of both worlds... switch probably happens 15 times
@JohnBrassardCPC How does Carney benefit when the consumer chooses their heat pump then applies for the subsidy? No link to anything, just a strawman argument. I got a heat pump my supplier suggested options I picked one and received a subsidy from Hydro Quebec handled by the supplier.
@MichaelSolberg This offer from Trump negates every right wing talking point.

@franco_nomics No! Ambitious countries invest in themselves. This project is long overdue and has a major transformational advantage for the region. 40% of the population will benefit, same goes for HSR between Calgary and Edmonton.
@ronmortgageguy China's solar/wind energy annual growth far outweighs coal plant construction used as a backstop for pop growth and rural use. Denying China's growth and leadership on renewable energy should not be ignored. We must pay attention to stay competitive, conplecancy is not an option.

@GasBuddyGuy It's not just that, US will loose their "prefered" customer pricing as more of our oil can be sold on the world market forcing the US to pay up in order to compete. The "discount" rate they get, because of obligation will be harder and harder to justify when CDN gains more buyers
@MarcNixon24 Remind me how many bi-Elections did the CPC win since the general? Is Guilbault and Wilkerson leaving not a good thing in the Eyes of the CPC? Ignoring floor crossers is disengenuous and lazy.
@mario4thenorth An invite from the EU to open the door in becoming an associate member is not the same as Canada accepting this invitation as presented. The PMO has immediately sent a message correcting the message. A strategic alliance with he EU is a good step.
Stephen Harper: "It is clear that the current U.S. administration views our level of economic integration as incompatible with our separate sovereignty. Thus, to maintain that sovereignty, we must pursue diminished reliance upon the United States."
@mario4thenorth BREAKING: Single Largest Private Sector Capital Investment in History of Canada Premier Scott Moe and Bell Canada CEO Mirko Bibic today announced a major expansion of Bell's Al Data Centre project in Saskatchewan, bringing the total estimated capital investment to more than $50B
Mark Carney: "We're not looking to become a member of the European Union. What we are looking and will begin discussions for unique alliance with the European Union, between Canada and the European Union."
@mario4thenorth Take the speach in it's interity, it was masterful! The PM elected when the events took place at 92 today was the perfect vessel. He made me proud, Hockstra gave him a hug after. Just so we are clear, he did not speak for liberals he spoke for Canadians! Vive le Canada!
