@Incinray@luismgl_18@NGreentail and thus buying packs again, rather than trying to get something overpriced off a scalper that was only paying the same MSRP anyway the TPC would be charging you or I.
@Incinray@luismgl_18@NGreentail I was super into collecting back during like Hidden Fates, but when scalpers were getting out of control, I just stopped caring. In theory, if TPC wants to make more money, printing more and lowering the per pack value to stop scalpers would help more people get into the game--
@OyasumiBastet@StarlitPerrine@ilovehokerin@PacboySlim@chargersangels_ Even so, if steam just dies tomorrow and I didn't think to do what you suggest, my whole collection is lost. The only way to lose my physical collection is some natural disaster that physically destroys it all, and even then some of it might still work. A game key won't in 30yrs
@OyasumiBastet@StarlitPerrine@ilovehokerin@PacboySlim@chargersangels_ -- I buy for the convenience of digital, and Keith steam in particular, I'm often buying from steam sales to get the game cheaper, just to play it. If I'm buying a cartridge, the idea is that I can just plug and play even when the servers are down with no extra whatever. --
@StarlitPerrine@ilovehokerin@PacboySlim@chargersangels_ I can, on the other hand, but a physical Nintendo cartridge (that's not a key-card) and just play the game. My old Wii games don't require downloads. My pokemon platinum copy will never need a download. But I can't buy a physical copy of anything on steam.
@StarlitPerrine@ilovehokerin@PacboySlim@chargersangels_ False equivalence. We know that could be the case with steam, but we aren't buying a physical steam game cartridge with the purpose of displaying it on a shelf or preserving the ability to play the game beyond the servers shutting down. You literally can't do that with steam. --
@chargersangels_@PacboySlim So it's only physical in the most literal sense, but it might as well just be a download code and save themselves and me the extra little plastic cartridge that no one is gonna see inside the case anyway.
@chargersangels_@PacboySlim I can pop in pokemon platinum on my DS and just play it. One day, I won't be able to just pop in pokopia and play it. I can't access my old Wii account on my new Wii, and I can't download pokemon ranch anymore. A ton of the Xbox 360 digital games I bought I can't play anymore. --
Hey all!! Looking for some peeps that might play Age of Conan Unchained? I play pretty solo most of the time but I'd love to have some peeps that I can chat with about it and do raids with from time to time, perhaps even a group that would chill in my discord and chat about it?
@Gapi182@AttackOnHyrule1@CentroLeaks - which already creates a divide between that and the regular main series. Prior to legends, main series was the generational games or their remakes. And we saw that ScVi didn't take any notes from Arceus, even though they had the chance for a huge improvement. --
@AttackOnHyrule1@CentroLeaks PLA was trun based with only the strong and agile style being the real difference for actual combat. So what I said is not yet false.
@Gapi182@AttackOnHyrule1@CentroLeaks It's main series as per their definition, but it's not a new generation. It's their more "experimental" line. "Lol".
