Donald Hoffman says the mathematics indicates embodied consciousness like ours is a rare exception in the universe.

The universe should be teeming with intelligence more advanced than humans, operating without traditional bodies.

Hoffman calls our human form one of the cheapest, most restrictive "virtual reality headsets" in existence.

The default state of consciousness, according to the math, has no body at all.

The normal state of consciousness is not embodied. Hoffman frames the human condition as the worst possible interface. "We're like a marathon runner with weights, terrible shoes, and a backpack." This is unbelievable!

Researchers have just found that a bacterium in fermented kimchi can actually bind nanoplastics in your gut.

It may also be present in sauerkraut.

In simulated human intestinal conditions, it bound 57% of nanoplastics.

Then - in mice, it led to more than double the excretion of nanoplastics.

The bacterium is called Leuconostoc mesenteroides.
And what it does is fascinating.

It physically absorbs nanoplastics onto its surface, almost like a sponge.

So instead of those particles passing into your bloodstream…they stay in the gut and get excreted.

And that matters.

Because nanoplastics are small enough to cross your gut barrier, enter circulation, and accumulate in tissues.

They’ve been linked to inflammation, oxidative stress, and even DNA damage.

So this could help reducing total body exposure.

If you’re going to use this though, keep it simple.

Go for raw, unpasteurised kimchi or sauerkraut.

Because heat kills these beneficial bacteria.

⛵️ NEW: The Global Sumud Flotilla says Palestinian-Spanish-Swedish activist Saif Abukeshek’s condition is deteriorating inside Israel’s Shikma detention facility after escalating his hunger strike into a dry hunger strike.

A newly disclosed report from Swedish consular officials following a prison visit says Saif was subjected to threats, psychological abuse, violent transfers, prolonged blindfolding, and interrogations where Israeli officers allegedly told him he would “spend [his] life rotting in jail” and never see his family again. Officials also warned about his worsening health.

Abukeshek was detained after Israeli forces seized a Gaza-bound flotilla in international waters near Greece, abducting and transferring him to Israel.
