Imagine receiving a notice out of the blue that you have been suspended and will be punished without even having a hearing--all in the middle of final exams--merely because an administrator "thought" you were involved in a protest on little to no evidence. MIT can do better.
I am deeply disappointed with how the @MIT administration has treated its students-- using a disciplinary channel only invoked for grave crimes to collectively punish protesters with no due process will have a corrosive impact on our community.
Wonderful write up on my esteemed colleague @WilliamDeringer ! I’ve never looked at spreadsheets or coal mines the same after talking with him—a sign of his immense scholarly breadth—and his conventional conviviality! https://t.co/21nC17Nzwn
