Today, at the European Parliament, ECO’s Chief Executive Elisabetta Zanon joined policymakers, experts, and advocates to discuss how Europe can accelerate HPV elimination through vaccination, screening, and population awareness.
'If we want to eradicate HPV cancers , we need to address several challenges at the same time. The Beating Cancer Plan has helped EU countries take action to promote vaccination and screening, but more needs to be done.
We need more comprehensive vaccination, extended to boys as well, to completely eliminate barriers to access, and address misinformation among the population' 💬
Let’s continue working together to make HPV-related cancers #OneLessWorry for everyone.
