@Mycoalmickan@JohnHPiette@mannyfidel You understand it can be edited and shortened, right? A lot of theme songs are edited down. They could have still used the ending.
No, it was always some cute girl with long hair & they'd be like “we’re gonna cut it all off and make you look like Mia Farrow in Rosemary’s Baby” and then she’d be bawling her eyes out because she got this shitty Great Clips buzz cut looking like fucking Butters from South Park.
If the Jets win the superbowl today, it will be big for them but more importantly it will be huge for me. I never thought I’d see the day that an American team with a field of talent so deep, would storm the goal posts on a clay court thousands of miles away from home, with the chance of clinching not only a grand slam but a flawless victory, mere days away from scrimmage. The rock n roll hall of fame better make some room, because mama’s coming home with a few trophies tonight, not to mention a plaque or two. It’s crunch time fellas. Let’s get it done, for family, for country and for God. LET’S GOOOO GATORS!
I've referred to my job at pitchfork as being on a ferris wheel at closing time, just waiting for them to yank me down. after nearly 8 yrs, mass layoffs got me. glad we could spend that time trying to make it a less dude-ish place just for GQ to end up at the helm
i’m deeply at a loss rn. i’ve lived for my work and for 13 years, since i was 22, it’s been at pitchfork. i’m sure i’ll have more to say at some point but for now i’m just eternally grateful to the editors who’ve helped make me the writer i am, esp @ryandombal@jillian_mapes
After 35 years, I am leaving NPR. I've had the thrill of creating Tiny Desk Concerts, All Songs Considered, directing All Things Considered for 18 years and so much more. I love the people I've worked with, but it's time to find new challenges. thank you for listening/watching.

"With just four years of legislative experience under his belt, he was criticized by incumbent Mayor Lori Lightfoot in late January when she sneered, “God bless. Brandon Johnson isn’t going to be the mayor of this city,”
