As of 6:00 PM on 14 December 2025, the total number of Cambodian civilians killed has reached 12, and the number of injured has reached 74.
The total number of displaced persons has increased to 120,814 families, equivalent to 403,601 individuals, including approximately 208,000 women and about 96,000 children.
A vital bridge connecting Cambodia and Thailand, key for ASEAN connectivity, was destroyed by Thai F-16 airstrikes, disrupting cross-border transport and raising regional security concerns.
Students fled their classrooms after Thai forces used F-16 fighter jets to drop bombs in Srei Snam district, Siem Reap province, and Chong Kal district at depths of around 70 kilometers inside Cambodian territory.
The airstrikes occurred at approximately 10:08 am and 10:11 am today, December 15. The bombing caused panic among students, who ran from school buildings after hearing explosions.
BREAKING: Thai F-16 Jets Drop Two Bombs in Military Region 4 Border Area: Defence Ministry
(Phnom Penh): The Ministry of National Defence of Cambodia reported that Thai military forces carried out an airstrike using F-16 fighter jets in the Military Region 4, targeting the border area of Srei Snam district in Siem Reap province on Monday (Dec. 15).
- At 10:08 a.m., a Thai F-16 fighter jet dropped a bomb near the Oβ Jik Bridge in the border area of Srei Snam district, Siem Reap province.
- At 10:11 a.m., a second bomb was dropped by a Thai F-16 fighter jet at the same location.

As of Dec.14, a total of 114,106 families consisting of 384,101 people, had been displaced in the western part of Cambodia. Among them are more than 200,000 women and about 100,000 children.
As the clashes along the Cambodia/Thailand border entered a second week, the displaced peopleβand especially the pregnant women, children, the elderlies and people with disabilitiesβhave been suffering physically and mentally during their evacuation, affected due to the conflict as well as the lack of care and nutrition.
There currently are displacement sites in seven provinces, which are Oddar Meanchey, Preah Vihear, Banteay Meanchey, Pursat, Siem Reap, Battambang and Koh Kong provinces.
