Are you at #aasl2025? Have questions for my session tomorrow at 11AM in room 228, add them to the padlet: https://t.co/L4QB28JKyQ and I hope to see you there! even if you can't make it, I'll try to answer questions in person and in the padlet later!
So I meant to join #MGBookChat tonight, and unfortunately life with a toddler happened. Grateful for the many conversations I had over the years. Thank you!
Just a reminder that tonight is our LAST #MGBookChat
It will run like an OPEN CHAT but we hope you will join us to bid FAREWELL. Bring your topics, questions, latest reads and memories as we say goodbye. See you tonight at 9 PM EST
Librarians anyone have and use a colibri machine? Is this worth it? I do manually cover books now sometimes but I do all of them like Iโm covering textbooks in the 90s. Wondering if this machine speeds things up? #librarianhivemind
My fourth graders are trying micro:bit programming for the first time. "This is so cool!" "DO YOU SEE THIS?!" are the first quotes I have heard once they get the programming correct. I love the voices of first discoveries! @FCPSSTEAM@FCPS_LIS
@msmaysunshine Heโs such a great author but most Stephen king books bc those people also tend to like horror movies and I can.not. I am such a scaredy cat
Used this graphic today in my latest quiet soapbox of stall stories I put in all the teacher bathrooms. No one ever mentions directly to me that they don't think listening to audiobooks is reading. Don't think people didn't ask me my opinion though! #audiobooksarereading
You can now download a color version of this drawing at the Art page of my site--for free: https://t.co/src2NAlo1B
I got sent some great ideas about how to expand this drawing. I'll share a new version when I make it. Also got some anger for calling audiobooks "reading." Yikes.
