@bennessb Yep. When I'd have migraines I'd identify the trigger and my ex would tell me I was making excuses and really had no idea how to tell where it was coming from so I was obviously lying for attention. He was downright cruel about it.

@bennessb Right! I always thought it was ridiculous that I was a competitive athlete my entire life but I'd get new injuries weekly and no one else did. It didn't strike me as odd, just thought that I was weak and dramatic. Being told that I'm just "overly sensitive". Nope.

Which does not make it easy to have a job where cold calling or talking to customers is even sort of possible. I can't. I freeze and can't function if anything is different.
