Now we're past the magical £8K mark, we wanted to share more about the great work @RefugeesAtHome do, and why #CannedAid supports them! Here's what some of the over 2,000 people they've supported have said.

People in the UK with spare rooms have opened their homes to refugees and asylum seekers who need a place to stay for a total of 153,817 nights so far, all connected by @RefugeesAtHome. As their website says, "Any of us could be refugees if circumstances change"

Wahhhhhh! Another milestone cracked? In the kidney bean world, the £8103 raised could send 16206 cans of kidney beans to foodbanks via the @trusselltrust.
