Did you know I'm not dead? You can follow my new account @Josh_BadWriter or find my re-named YouTube channel here for the latest on accidentally buying a PS5, Korean stuff, and complaining about things!

Squid Game is an incredible show that has a lot to say about Korean society and culture. Take a deep dive into its themes and history in my latest.

#ICYMI I've changed my channel name (again) to Josh Griffiths, and posted a video last week on the rise of the Korean Wave. You can follow me @Josh_BadWriter now!

Otherwise, not much is changing. I'm still going to cover pop culture and current events like I've been doing since retiring Triple Eye.
Still have one video planned for this month, and I'm hoping for three in November.
Okay, the people have spoken! Cannibal Christmas Tree is now Josh Griffiths. The switch-over is mostly done, I am going to update some thumbnails though. Might make the avatar just a pic of me.
Cannibal Christmas Tree is a bit silly, and maybe not the good kind.
It's been suggested "Cannibal" could be screwing me over in terms of YouTube analytics and censorship stuff. Also, "Christmas" could connote Christian themes, which I don't know about but it's been said.
So, a lot of people don't like my new channel name, and they're starting to win me over.
How would you feel about me just using my real name for the channel? No big announcement or anything like last time, just quietly switch over.
Squid Game is really damn good. Only two episodes in (late to the party, I know) but I'm enjoying it. Hoping to have a video on it before the end of the month. (More than enough time for everyone to forget about it, but whatever).
So he's something surprising. The Korean Wave video I just uploaded? Very few watchers come from the US. Over 60% of the views came from Indonesia, almost 40% more than second-place Mexico.
I don't normally do the "like and subscribe" dance, but this video was marked as 'not advertiser friendly,' so if you could help spread this video around that would be greatly appreciated.
It seems like everywhere you look, an aspect of Korean culture permeates our own. From #BTS to #Parasite to #Samsung and #Kimchi, Korean culture is more popular than ever.
How did it happen, and what's behind this Korean Wave? And just how popular is it?

I've got three videos planned for October, including my first non-gaming-related video in about seven years. It's going to be tough, but I really want to pull it off.
