The Cannington Shaw Preservation Trust is a CIC dedicated to the preservation and repurposing of No: 7 Bottle Shop, situated just off the TESCO car park.
It was fantastic to host @paulsalveson at @sthelenscouncil Town Hall along with interested group from Rainhill, Sankey Canal and other local projects. The ambition is big, especially for Rainhill and NLW/Earlestown for #LMR200 supported by @StHLabour 🇬🇧🌹

Great to be finally underway with the practical end of this project. Long road ahead, but the Cannington Shaw Board and myself are determined to see this important piece of industrial heritage brought back to life.

It was a great turnout today for our STF Veterans Select team as the lads got some practice in ahead of our Celebrity Allstars match on the 1st Oct.
Keep your eyes peeled for more details and we will hopefully announce some of the celebrity names in the next few weeks! ⭐️⚽️

Great news for our President @andyreid2506 and our Chair/Project Director @Tabsaint who founded the STF over three years ago, but more importantly their hard working team who do incredible stuff in the community.
We are so delighted to be shortlisted for the Social Business of the Year Award at the St Helens Business Awards 2023 @StHelensChamber
This means the world to us, as recognition for the hard work we put into delivering our services.

Kim Waugh Caroline Platt and Matthew Ashton, all giving their own time up yesterday to get us ready for Heritage Open Days 8th/9th next week.
Remember its in the Heavenly Heelz unit adjacent to Bridge St entrance to Church Square, not TopShop unit as previously publicised.
@carolineplatt31 Grace and I go regularly, Piece Hall is stunning and Halifax is a great town. Though Grace was born in Castleford, Halifax is where she did alot of her growing up.
Great afternoon at the #sthelensgala good to have #johnnyvegas drop by and talk all things heritage.
#LMS and #JamesRoby also stop by to check in on our progress.
Of all the things I thought I might do this evening, getting involved in a bat survey wasn’t one of them. Committed to the cause though 🦇
