@Michael_Nania The Jets have just been so bad for so long that they’ve taken the energy out of even the most ardent supporters…. We just need a competitive season to get some life back in the fanbase
@Joerb31 It’s not smart for the guy who’s the QB and therefore the leader of the team to make such a public political statement?…. obviously Giants would prefer Carter would be the bigger man and address it privately but I think Dart is also wrong here… glad I’m a Jets fan for once haha
@LukeGrant7 I’d give both an A…. If I absolutely had to choose probably option 2 and then take a big outside receiver for some much needed WR depth in round 4 or 5
@LukeGrant7 9.5 out of 10…. Only thing I’d change would be to trade back a bit from 33, add capital and then get an IOL starter a bit later in the second round
@LukeGrant7 I love that idea at WR, not sure it makes sense at Edge….I think the room would get a bit crowded with McDonald, enegbare, Reese, Ossai and another rookie ….We have too many other needs to double up at edge and we have plenty of resources to upgrade further next year if needed
@LukeGrant7 I’d love it but unfortunately I don’t see Lemon falling to 16 and I think if we wait until 16 to take a WR we’re going to have to either reach for a guy, or wait for the second round… Id go Tate at #2 then load up on defense with the next 3 picks
@Michael_Nania Ok I know good coaches can overcome difficulties but if you told me before week 1 that Fields would have less than 50 passing yards in half of his starts and get benched midseason and by week 8 we’d be without Garrett, Sauce, Q and AVT I’d have predicted a 2-3 win season at best
@NYJ_Matt I’m guessing it was a player issue, the veterans on the defense were not happy with Wilkes, Quincy and JJ refusing to speak to the media yesterday was a telling sign
@RichCimini Why even bother to fly all the way to Cincinnati? Just forfeit and try again after after the bye…. That’s what we do before halftime each week anyway
@Michael_Nania@jetsxfactor Easy answer in my opinion, route for wins until they get their 9th loss of the year (effectively eliminating them from playoffs) then route for them to tank from there. Only caveat is that they need to get at least 1 win. Can’t have them be the worst team in history
@LukeGrant7 Just watch the tape at a normal time …. Wins and losses don’t really matter at this point, it’s all about evaluating the coaching staff to see if they deserve another year or if they are so lost that they need to be 1 and done
@NYJ_Matt Patriots are making the same mistake we’ve made many times, throwing the kid in before he’s ready with no OL and no weapons…. Love to see it!
