Heavenly Father,

I come to You with my worries and fears. My heart feels anxious, but I trust that You are with me. Fill me with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help me to cast all my cares upon You, knowing that You care for me.

Give me strength for today, wisdom for my decisions, and courage to face what lies ahead. Calm my mind, steady my heart, and remind me that You are in control.

Thank You for Your love, protection, and faithfulness. I place my anxieties in Your hands and choose to trust in You.

5. He sees every tear. The tears you cry in private are not ignored. God knows your pain, and He is close to the brokenhearted.

Let’s pray:

Heavenly Father,

I’m coming to You today ready to release what’s been weighing on me. I’ve been holding onto so much worrying about things I can’t control, overthinking every outcome, and trying to fix situations that were never mine to fix. Truthfully, I’m tired of carrying what was never meant for me and trying to figure everything out. So today, I choose to place it all in Your hands: the stress I can’t shake, the thoughts that won’t slow down, and the fear of the unknown. Help me trust You with what I don’t understand, release the need to control every detail, and remember that You are already ahead of me, working things out in ways I can’t yet see. Thank You for bringing me this far and not leaving me in confusion. Today, I surrender every burden, every worry, and every unanswered question. Fill me with peace where there’s been anxiety, calm my heart, and quiet my mind. Teach me to truly let go and rest in knowing You’ve got me. Amen.

I wish all who celebrate St. Patrick’s Day knew the true meaning of the holiday. It wasn’t established to celebrate leprechauns, the color green, or getting drunk. It was to honor and celebrate the life of a man who preached Christ throughout Ireland. His heart was focused on what matters most.

St. Patrick once wrote these words:

Dear God,

Some days fear feels louder than faith when I’m worried about the future, unsure of my next steps, or overwhelmed by what I can’t control. But even then, You remind me I’m not walking through this alone. You meet me in the uncertainty, steady my racing heart, and gently realign me with the truth that I am held.

Guide me today, God. Quiet the anxious thoughts that rise too quickly. Strengthen the weary parts of me. I place my family, my work, my hopes, my worries, and every dream I’m still nurturing into Your hands. Lead my life in the direction only You can see, and help me trust the timing I don’t yet understand.
I don’t know what tomorrow holds, but I know who walks with me into it. And that is enough.
