@NiqabNancy Those shelters were built by Palestinians following Jesus in 30 B.C to protect them against invading Muslims, but the Israelis took them and call them their own.
@academic_la Stretching the meaning of a "non-event" opens so many possibilities. Don't get upset when others call other situations you find awful as "non-events".
@PlanetarySnowf1 Ah the usual deflection, moving the goalposts and basking in "ignorance is bliss". Parroting info fed to you by others. BTW - No, the ICJ did not determine this a genocide.
@PlanetarySnowf1@MartinKonecny You are not even trying to hide your bias, ignorance or both. Sudan, Congo, Yemen & Syria are/were far more horrendous. And as an example Iranian supreme leader calls daily for the destruction of Israel - a genocidal statement. The Gaza war should end, but it's not the only one
@PlanetarySnowf1@MartinKonecny So they're not arguing that he supports Israel's actions just that he didn't voice strong statements against. In fact they acknowledge they have no reason to doubt his views but require a purity test. Hopefully they require it from other participants from questionable countries.
@MartinKonecny Also, I will use the same logic and litmus test the festival is applying - The Ghent Festival has not provided enough proof to say their actions are not based on antisemitism, so the default conclusion is that it's antisemitism
@clashreport So is he saying that countries with nuclear bombs and aircraft carriers should do something? What exactly?
If only he was so dedicated to giving independence to his own minorities which the central Spanish government is oppressing.
@ibrahimibnyusuf@stephenpollard It's hard to tell from your document. Could you perhaps use some visible symbol (yellow star would be cute ⭐) to make it easier to see .....
