@HMRCcustomers Trying to change my address as there is one letter wrong in the postcode, when I enter the date I move in it says that the date is earlier than the one you have (it shouldn’t be) can’t get through to an adviser and can’t change it on the app/website.
we're going to see unprecedented levels of teens playing on the street this summer, followed by unprecedented levels of curtain-twitchers posting photographs of teens on facebook going "WHOS KIDS R THESE. WHY ARE THEY OUTSIDE MY HOUSE. I HAVE NOTIFIED THE POLICE"
I genuinely think 2019 was the last normal year of our lives. Since then, it feels like we woke up in a different timeline. Nothing makes sense, time moves too fast and yet too slow, and everyone is constantly on edge. Like the world quietly updated and nobody got the patch notes.
When John Davidson was 16 years old he talked about killing himself because he felt humiliated by his disability and frustrated by the harm it caused. To have the NAACP Awards openly mocking him for his disability is evil, mean spirited, calloused and ableist.
Excited to be giving away one of the world's most popular lipstick shades: Clinique's Almost Lipstick in 'black honey'. It's a beautiful wash of berry colour in a balm-like texture. To enter, follow @davelackie & RT #win (ends 03/06)
I’ve already accepted that this is how I will die.
Won’t reach old age because a mum taking her son 5 minutes to swimming lessons needs a 4x4 Land Rover with the Ford Field lighting system strapped to the front of it for some reason.
You don’t see neighborhoods like this anymore because most young parents don’t own homes. Less than 5% of mortgage holders are under 30 in major metros, and the average homeowner is over 50.
That’s why most neighborhoods or suburbs feel empty, they’re owned by older people whose kids are grown, while younger families are renting apartments & priced out of the communities.
Just so everyone is clear what happened here;
Waitrose, a company that makes many millions in profits, was happy to let this young man work in their stores for several years without being paid.
The moment that he asks to be paid for his time, they refuse to let him come back.
This wasn't a "placement", or about helping him to get some "work experience", this was a large company taking advantage of a young man to use him as free labour, and the moment he wasn't free anymore, they dumped him.
This isn't inclusivity, this is blatant exploitation.
